Caregiving is all about standing by another. Some days you just have to put all the trying to understand, trying to do it better, trying in general and just kick back for a couple minutes and enjoy a little toe tapping joyous music about standing by one another.
There are a zillion versions of “Stand By Me” but somehow the “heart” of this compilation version by street performers from around the world is heads above the rest.

I love this video! I agree we all need to support and help one another out from time to time. (Hugs)Indigo
ReplyDeleteThat was a great version os this song! You have such a lovely blog...I am so sorry I cannot visit as much as I would like to. You are such an inspiration. I hope you keep lifting the spirits of others who need a little something to keep them going.
ReplyDeleteThat was leap up and clap beautiful and a great message. I love the way they tied it all in. Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeletecaregiving is hard work; commitment to staying with a spouse in a marriage that didn't quite go the way you thought it would is sacrificial and loving and shows dedication, something the world needs to know more of in these days where things are so disposable. you are showing Patti unconditional love, Patrick, knowing that 100% your needs/desires/hopes, etc will not be fulfilled but you chose the higher plain and did it. You truly are to be admired and respected!
ReplyDeleteand that was a cute rendition of the song! I enjoyed watching it very much
take care of yourself.......
