My husband and I used to dance for hours so giving that up due to my MS was really tough. However, one of my most memorable and poignant moments occurred when he took me out to dance with me in a wheelchair. Though I wept softly as we danced, it has remained one of my most vivid memories of his expression of love for me.
ReplyDeleteYour post and the memories it evoked have inspired a haiku poem which I will publish on my blog next Wednesday. I hope you don't mind that I've titled it Wheelchair Dance.
