Caregiving: time nibblers

It’s easy to get distracted.

Yes, any one’s day can be ‘nibbled to death by ducks’.

As a caregiver, I swear those web footed time nibblers follow me around.

Lingering a little longer in a hot shower or enjoying a second cup of coffee … quack!

It’s so easy to get behind.

  1. I'm always saying I feel like the rabbit in "Alice In Wonderland" running around shouting as he looks at his watch "I'm late, I'm late for a very important date"...story of my life. (Hugs) Indigo

  2. LOL; my solution is getting up earlier and earlier; one can exist on 5 hours of sleep a night I'm finding :)

  3. Ok, it's truth time...

I am easily distracted by anything if there is something I HAVE to get done!!
Time in the shower, extra coffee... small, but often times, it's the small things that make our day brighter!

    Have a good one!

  5. I hadn't thought about them as time stealers, but I guess they are. Still, I find I need those little moments of relaxation to break up the hectic schedule. It seems I'm always behind in one area or another. I will play catch up in one area of my life, while getting behind in another. Like some folks do with their finances... taking money from Peter to pay Paul. Juggling... I'm always juggling involvements ... can't say yes to everything. Some days it's yes to this and no to that. Other days it's no to this and yes to that. It's my solution when saying no is not an option. Some things just have to be taken care of. Cute graphic. bea
